Sum 41 is a legendary Canadian rock band formed in Ajax, Ontario, in 1996. Led by Deryck Whibley on vocals and guitar, the band achieved massive mainstream success with their 2001 debut album All Killer No Filler, which spawned the chart-topping hit "Fat Lip." Their energetic blend of pop-punk and hard rock made them one of the defining bands of the 2000s. Throughout their career, Sum 41 released eight studio albums and became the 31st best-selling Canadian artist in Canada. They earned multiple Juno Award nominations and wins, including Group of the Year in 2003 and Rock Album of the Year for Chuck in 2005. Known for their relentless touring schedule—often performing over 100 shows annually—the band built a devoted global fanbase. From breakthrough hits like "In Too Deep" and "Still Waiting" to later albums like 13 Voices and Heaven :x: Hell, Sum 41 left an indelible mark on rock music. The band was inducted into the Canadian Music Hall of Fame before disbanding in March 2025, concluding an incredible 29-year legacy. Own a piece of rock history with this cassette collection mug—a tribute to one of Canada's most influential bands.
